Photos, Original Art and Postcards

The Picture Collection at the State Library of Victoria is composed of over 600 000 images, of which nearly a third are accessible from the multimedia catalogue. Of particular interest to researchers in this area is the Argus Collection of War Photographs, an extensive collection of photographs brought by The Age and given to the Library in 1976.
